Under the radar. There are all kinds of stables in wrestling but some of the bigger ones are on top of the industry. This includes the Bloodline, which has been the top story in WWE for the last few years and is still a major deal in the company to this day. The group has been changing a bit in recent weeks though and now we know something new about the latest member.

Over the weekend at WWE Backlash, Tanga Loa made a surprise debut, helping the Bloodline defeat Kevin Owens and Randy Orton and joining the team. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Loa’s contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling expired at the same time as his brother Tama Tonga’s but news did not get out because Loa never announced that he was leaving. There is no word on when the two sides came to a deal.

Opinion: This is an interesting way to go and it made for a heck of a surprise. While there was another name expected to join the team, Loa showing up instead was quite the moment. I’m curious to see where this is going, as the Bloodline is going in a different direction and that is a good thing, as the team was needing something fresh after so long on top.
