Hand them over. Titles are some of the most important parts of any wrestling show as you never know when you are going to see someone get their big break by winning a championship. It might be a long time coming or it might come out of nowhere but what matters is that someone gets to hold up the gold. That was the case again this weekend as some titles changed hands.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: The Bloodline Adds New Member With Surprise Debut At Backlash

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles changed hands at Backlash this weekend as Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair defeated the Kabuki Warriors to win the championships. This marks the first reign with the titles for both of them and comes less than four months after Cargill made her in-ring debut in WWE. The two had teamed together with Naomi to defeat the Warriors and Dakota Kai at WrestleMania 40. This was the only title change of the show as all of the other champions retained their titles.

That was big. Check out the title match and the new champs:

Opinion: I’m not sure how big of a shock this was as the idea of Cargill and Belair as an unstoppable force makes quite a bit of sense. It’s hard to imagine them losing and giving Cargill a major defeat so soon into her time in WWE would have been odd. This was the right decision and it wouldn’t surprise me to see them holding onto the titles for a rather long time to come.
