They’re banged up. Wrestling is a lot of things, but ultimately it is a physical sport. There are all kinds of different injuries or issues that can pile up through either wrestling matches or training. A busy schedule can make it difficult to find time to heal up as wrestlers have to make their next shows. That is the case again with two prominent WWE stars as they are on the way to a major event.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens were guests on this week’s edition of the Bump. During the interview, Owens revealed that he has been dealing with a wrist problem due to training in boxing. Zayn also announced that he was dealing with forearm and vocal cord issues. However, Zayn said that the issues should not impact them in their Tag Team Title defense against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at Night Of Champions this coming Saturday.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that happens to just about every wrestler at some point as they are going to be banged up in some way at almost every point. Thankfully these seem to be the normal wear and tear issues, though as soon as they heal up, they both will probably have a brand new issue to face. It’s part of the nature of wrestling, and Zayn and Owens are dealing with it at the moment.
