I miss Coliseum Video tag team matches. Now that Summerslam is gone and over with, it’s time to see where things go from here. That was the case with this week’s SmackDown Live, which featured a bunch of matches and stories being advanced. Two of the biggest stories were continuations from Summerslam and as luck would have it, those stories were advanced after the show was over as well.
Make sure to check out this week’s SmackDown Live results.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, there was a pair of dark matches at tonight’s SmackDown Live tapings, with one coming both before and after the show aired. Before the show, Asuka defeated Mandy Rose with the Asuka Lock. After the show was over, Daniel Bryan defeated Samoa Joe via DQ when the Miz interfered. AJ Styles came in for the save, leading to a brawl with Styles and Bryan cleaning house.
One of those feuds isn’t over yet.
Opinion: Am I the only one who really wants to see Miz/Samoa Joe vs. Bryan/Styles in a twenty minutes pay per view match? That actually sounds quite good, though it wouldn’t shock me to see Styles vs. Miz down the line, possibly even for the WWE Championship. It’s also nice to have Asuka doing something, though having her on TV might not be the worst idea in the world.
Do you like the idea of the tag match? When will Asuka be back in the title hunt? Let us know in the comments below.
