An international affair. As is always the case, it’s a good idea to send the fans home happy, especially after a long show. That was the case with this week’s “Smackdown Live” as well, which saw a lot of the build towards “Survivor Series 2017”. Some names seem primed to head on to the pay per view and some of them were featured after the TV show ended.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, this week’s post “Smackdown Live” dark match saw Bobby Roode team up with Shinsuke Nakamura to defeat Jinder Mahal and Dolph Ziggler. Mahal, Ziggler and Roode all appeared on the show with Mahal in the ring and the others in a backstage segment. Nakamura wasn’t seen on the show.
Here’s a quick clip of the finish.
WWE SD 24 Oct, 2017 Dark Match - Bobby Roode & Shinsuke Nakamura Defeat Jinder Mahal & Dolph Ziggler
Opinion: That’s a good idea for a dark match as the fans can react to Roode’s entrance and go nuts when Nakamura comes out for all the important stuff. Ziggler taking the fall is the right choice as he’s not all that interesting and Mahal can only handle so many losses at this point in his reign.
Do you think Ziggler or Mahal will qualify for the Survivor Series team? Who will take the title from Mahal? Let us know in the comments below.
