He’s quite the replacement. With the recent rash of changes to the “Smackdown Live” roster, it was clear that some substitutions were needed. In this case, that would be HHH himself, who replaced AJ Styles during a recent house show tour in Chile. As you might have expected, cameras were on hand.

WWE has released a video of HHH’s appearance at the show, where he faced and defeated Rusev. After the match, New Day came out to the ring to join HHH in a bit of a celebration, though things didn’t go quite as the trio would have planned. This was HHH’s first match since “Wrestlemania XXXIII” in April. Here’s the video:

Opinion: Cool. One of the things I love about house shows is sometimes you get something entertaining like this. It might be a surprise appearance or a great match but you never know when you might see something different. This was a very cool moment and one of the best ideas WWE could have had. It feels like they went beyond what they originally planned and that’s a nice thing to see.

What is the coolest thing you’ve ever seen at a house show? Who do you think HHH will face next? Let us know in the comments below.
