Full Match: What Happened After “Smackdown” Went Off the Air?

Ok that’s different. We’re in the final stretches of the run up to “Wrestlemania XXXIV” and that means you’re going to be seeing some different things. That’s been the case on the recent TV shows, but in addition to that there’s been some different stuff on the non-televised side.

Here’s the full thing.

AJ Styles & The Usos vs Baron Corbin, Rusev & Aiden English Smackdown Dark Match 3/27/2018

After last night’s “Smackdown Live” and “205 Live” tapings, the post-show dark match saw AJ Styles and the Usos team up to face Baron Corbin, Rusev and Aiden English. The match was noteworthy as Rusev came out impersonating Hulk Hogan and the finish saw the referee superkick English so Styles could count the pin. You can see the full match above.

Here are last night’s results, including Rusev earning something nice.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that’s acceptable for a dark match. It’s not like English taking a fall in a comedy match is going to hurt him and Rusev got to shine a little bit. He’s good at the comedy stylings and it makes sense to let the fans have something fun to go out on. It’s a fine idea and the fans were entertained so what else can you ask for?
