Change Made to “Wrestlemania” Title Match

Do you have room for one more? With less than two weeks to go before “Wrestlemania XXXIV”, everyone is doing whatever they can to get on the card. While a lot of people are going to be in one of the two battle royals, not everyone is going to be able to be thrown in there. That means finding another spot, and someone has done just that.

As announced tonight on “Smackdown Live”, Rusev will now be added to the triple threat match for the United States Title. Rusev joins fellow challengers Jinder Mahal and Bobby Roode against champion Randy Orton. This week, Rusev pinned Orton in a tag team match and was added to the title match later in the show.

Opinion: This is a good idea as you never want to have the fans chanting for Rusev while something else is going on. While it would be better to have Rusev in there instead of Mahal, this is at least a nice addition to the match. Rusev might not walk away with the title but at least he’s getting something after all those months of working hard and getting the fans so into his act.
