Welcome back. Wrestlers are a little different than most mainstream athletes as retirement is not quite the same thing. While most athletes retire once and then stay retired, wrestlers will often come back for a one off match rather than having to take part in a full season. That means you can see some surprising returns, and that might be the case again later this year.

During a virtual signing with Captain’s Corner, former WWE star and NXT Champion Bo Dallas announced that he will be back in a wrestling ring within the next few months. Dallas gave no further details on the promotion or opponent he will be facing. Dallas’ most recent match took place on November 13, 2019 at a WWE live event and he was released from the company in April 2021. Since leaving WWE, Dallas has been working in other ventures but now says that his schedule has cleared enough for him to return to his passion.

Opinion: Dallas is someone I haven’t thought of in a good while but it would be nice to see him get back in the ring. He is only thirty one years old and I can’t imagine there is no promotion that wants him. If nothing else, he has a bit of name value from his time in WWE so let him show what he still has. If this is what he wants to do, good for him, as a lot of wrestlers might not have that choice.

What do you think of Dallas? Where would you like to see him wrestle next? Let us know in the comments below.
