And that’s going to do it. Over the last few weeks, we’ve seen each member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017 have an inductor announced. These names have included people such as Eric Bischoff, the APA, Jim Cornette and Ricky Steamboat and now we know the inductor for the final member.
According to WWE.com,
Natalya will be inducting Beth Phoenix into the Hall of Fame. The two of them have a history together as they teamed as the Divas of Doom for a time. Phoenix wrestled in WWE from 2006 to 2012 and won four Women’s Titles (counting a reign as Divas Champion).
Opinion: I would have bet on Edge (Phoenix’s husband) but it’s nice to have someone with an on-screen connection to Phoenix. One of the problems with Edge would have been him overshadowing Phoenix but that’s not likely to be the case here. This is a fine choice and now that all the announcements have been made, we can get on to celebrating all of the class.
Do you like Natalya inducting Phoenix? Who else should it have been? Let us know in the comments below.
