For Real? Former WWE Superstar Confirms Interesting Detail About Draft

It’s a secret. There are certain events that take place every year in WWE and it can be a big deal when they come around again. Those events can often change the shape of the company and take things into a new direction, most of which are planned far in advance. However, there is at least one major event which is not quite so scripted, according to a now former WWE Superstar.

Earlier this year, WWE presented its Draft, where wrestlers were sent from one roster to another, with some of them being called up from NXT to either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown. According to Dijak in an interview with Fightful by way of Cagesidesats.com, the Draft results are a shoot, with the wrestlers not knowing in advance where they are going to go. Dijak was drafted from NXT to Monday Night Raw this year before his contract expired earlier this week.

Opinion: This is one of those things that has been hinted at before but it is rather fascinating to see how the situation actually goes. The Draft is one of those events that can really shake things up in WWE and it certainly did so this year. At the same time, it’s rather odd that WWE would basically waste a pick on Dijak when they had no intentions of moving him up to the main roster.
