The First Of Many? WWE Reportedly Planning These Surprise Royal Rumble Returns

As good a time as any. We are less than a month away from the Royal Rumble and that means it is time to start getting ready for one of the biggest nights of the year. The show is all the more unique as there will be two matches involving thirty people each. That means the matches are going to need some special entrants and now we might know who some of them will be.

According to PWInsider.com, WWE is considering some surprise entrants for the Royal Rumble. The names mentioned so far include X-Pac/Sean Waltman for the men’s edition of the match and Liv Morgan and Naomi for the women’s edition. Morgan is currently out of action due to an injury and Naomi is the reigning Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion, though she is expected to finish up with the company in the coming weeks. The Royal Rumble takes place on January 27.

Opinion: This is one of the best parts of the year as the Royal Rumble is built around the idea of waiting to see who is on the other side of the curtain when the buzzer goes off. Those are some good choices as X-Pac is a legend, Morgan has been away for a long time and Naomi’s return has seemed to be a long time coming. It should be a good Royal Rumble, and the list of possible special entrants is off to a good start.
