I guess it’s different. Stomping Grounds saw a card that went a big better than expected but it still wasn’t exactly the best received show in the world. Two of the major matches saw Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defeat Lacey Evans, while Seth Rollins defended the Universal Title against Baron Corbin in the main event. It turns out that we’re not done with either feud though.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Evans and Corbin challenged Rollins and Lynch to a mixed tag at Extreme Rules. However, there are stipulations to the match. If Rollins and Lynch win, Corbin and Evans can never face either of them again. If Corbin and Evans win, they win both titles as the match is winners take all. Extreme Rules takes place on July 14 in Philadelphia.
A lot of it started here. Check out part of last night’s main event:
Opinion: It’s not like this one is a surprise as the two feud continuing was kind of expected. These feuds have been one sided throughout yet for some reason they’re both continuing. After this show is over we can move on to the build to Summerslam, though I’m not sure how much of a story can be built up to that show in so little time. The match could be good, though that doesn’t make it the most interesting thing in the world.
