Get those belts shined up. There are a lot of titles in WWE. There are so many of them that we even got to see a whole pay per view centered around them just last month. With so many titles around, there are always going to be a lot of champions in action because they have to defend their titles ever so often. Now we know when the next big title match is going to take place.
This week on Monday Night Raw, the Viking Raiders defeated the Raw Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode in a non-title match. Later in the show, the Viking Raiders talked about facing the champions in a title match on next week’s show. This will be the Raiders’ first shot at the Raw Tag Team Titles. They are former NXT Tag Team Champions and were never defeated for the titles.
The Raiders can win a big match. Check out one of their bigger wins:
Opinion: This is pretty long overdue with the Raiders having been almost invincible since they debuted on the Monday Night Raw roster earlier this year. Roode and Ziggler have felt like transitional champions since they won the titles so putting them on the Raiders in a hurry would make sense. That being said, leave it to WWE to try and keep the titles on Roode and Ziggler a little while longer through some shenanigans.
