When sports collide. Earlier this year, Daniel Cormier won the UFC Heavyweight Title by knocking out Stipe Miocic. After the fight was over, Brock Lesnar jumped into the cage and got physical with Cormier. It was pretty clear that a fight was going to be taking place between the two of them in the future, but first Lesnar would have to reenter the United States Anti Doping Agency drug tests for six months. In the time between, Lesnar is in the public eye and Cormier saw him.
It’s gotten physical before.
During Lesnar’s title defense against Roman Reigns at Sunday’s Summerslam, Cormier took a few shots at him on Twitter. Cormier pointed out that Lesnar was looking thinner than he had before, along with mocking Lesnar for losing his title. In regards to their upcoming UFC fight, Cormier said that the results would be the same. While no date has been confirmed for the fight, early 2019 is the targeted time.
Old Brock is looking smaller thru the middle. He getting ready to really come and get that ass whipped!!!! Have fun in this @Wwe title match because when we clash I’m in that ass!!!!

Opinion: I mean, he’s not exactly wrong. It’s clear that Lesnar is indeed a bit smaller and it wouldn’t be the biggest surprise if it’s because of Lesnar adhering to a few more guidelines. If nothing else, that makes me wonder what is up with the WWE Wellness Policy. Assuming Lesnar had to get off of things for the sake of the USADA pool, how easy is it to get past the Wellness Policy? Or does WWE not test the part time Universal Champion?
What do you think of Cormier’s comments? When will Lesnar fight again in the UFC? Let us know in the comments below.
