Female Superstar Injured at NXT Tapings?

That’s not good. Over the last few months, one of the most interesting stories in “NXT” has been the rise of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. The two have gone from what seemed to be a cheap Laycool knockoff to being one of the better stories in the promotion. They’re a rather impressive heel team and that makes for some interesting television. Unfortunately, it seems that things might have hit a bad snag.

At tonight’s “NXT” tapings from the University of Central Florida (Full spoilers available here.), Kay seemed to have been injured during a match with Ember Moon. After taking the Eclipse, Kay had to be helped to the back after the match and was seen crying. Here’s a shot of the match’s aftermath.

Opinion: I really hope this isn’t serious as Kay and Royce have been one of the best things about “NXT”. Not only are they rather pleasing to the eyes but they’ve also turned into some of the better villains on the roster. They were even named the NXT Breakout Stars of 2016 so there has to be something there. Hopefully she’s better soon and it was just a bad landing.
