That’s a good reason. There are all kinds of wrestlers throughout the WWE roster and some of them are part of the same families. That makes things all the more personal for them both in and out of the ring while also allowing them to be there for each other when the need arises. That was the case again this week, as a wrestling family had to take care of something outside of wrestling.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the members of the Bloodline were not present for last week’s SmackDown as they were attending Afa’s funeral. This comes after Afa passed away last month following a lengthy illness. Last week’s SmackDown took place in Berlin, Germany before the following day’s Bash In Berlin event. There is nothing to suggest they will miss any more time.

Opinion: That makes perfect sense and is one of the things that is more important than wrestling. The Bloodline is a large family and it makes sense that they are not going to be at work when a member of that family is gone. The good thing is that there was no major storyline reason for them to be at the show, making it easy to work around their absence while they do something more important.
