The final touches. We are less than five days away from WWE Night Of Champions and the show’s card is mostly set. While the show will be built around a triple main event, there are going to be several other matches on the card, including at least a pair that do not involve titles. One of those matches was announced this week, along with a more traditional title match.

Two new matches were made official for Night Of Champions this week on Monday Night Raw. First up, SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley will defend her title against Natalya. The two have been trading verbal threats in recent weeks but have yet to meet for the title. Second, Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch signed a contract to meet in a grudge match. Lynch challenged Stratus for the match last week in an effort to get revenge for Stratus turning on her last month. Night Of Champions will be held May 27 at 1pm EST in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
It was a busy night. Check out how we got to these matches, plus more from the show:
Opinion: That’s a nice last night push towards the show, which was helped by the matches being all but official coming in. You knew Ripley vs. Natalya was going to happen somewhere and Lynch vs. Stratus literally only had to be signed. Night Of Champions is looking bigger, and the women’s presence on the show makes things feel even more unique given where it will be held.
