Cut The Deck. Who Was The Final Entrant In AEW’s Casino Battle Royal?

The last card in the deck. AEW’s Double Or Nothing is the hottest story in wrestling at the moment and one of the biggest questions of the night is who might be showing up. With so many top level free agents available, there are several spots that could be taken up on the show. One of those spots was in the Casino Battle Royal, which featured a surprise entrant called the Joker. So who was it?

The final entrant in the Casino Battle Royal was Adam Page, who filled in the Joker spot. Page had been previously scheduled for the card in a match against Pac, but the match was canceled due to creative differences involving Pac. By winning the match, Page will receive a shot at the inaugural AEW World Title against the winner of Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho.

Opinion: Page might not be the biggest surprise in the world, but it is a good sign to see the company pushing someone fresh. Page has shown a lot of potential over the last few years and while I can’t picture him winning the title, it is interesting to see where he could be going. Besides, the lack of a big surprise means one might be coming later on in the evening.
