Everybody in! If there’s one thing WWE knows how to do, it’s put a bunch of people into one match and hope for the best. It also just so happens that they have a bright shiny new Cruiserweight division with a lot of people in it that could use a spot on the “Wrestlemania XXXIII” card. If you can’t connect the dots, Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann can help you out.
Swann was recently interviewed by Raute Musik and gave his thoughts on what he would like to do at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. Transcription courtesy of WrestlingInc.com:
To have that opportunity, hopefully — Oh man, I can’t even speak on it. It’s just something that every single wrestler aspires to be, the guy wrestling in the middle of the ring in front of over 70, 80, 90, 100,000 people for the biggest wrestling company / entertainment company in the whole wide world. That’s the dream. No matter what kind of match I’m put in, whether it’s a single match, a tag match, a multi-man, I just want to be on Wrestlemania to have that experience. If us Cruiserweights get that chance on that platform, there’s no telling what’s gonna happen in a match like that.”

I’ve never been a fan of this kind of match and I really hope this isn’t what they’re going to do this year either. It takes away almost anything involving storylines or storytelling because it’s all about having as much insanity as possible. Yes it gets people on the card but I’d rather see a match actually be interesting instead of some big mess.
Would you like to see this kind of a match at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”? Who do you see taking the title off Swann? Let us know in the comments below.
