They’re on the road again. WWE has been expanding its slate of international Premium Live Events in recent months, with several shows taking place outside of North America this year. This includes shows in France, Scotland, Germany, Australia and more, with Saudi Arabia hosting a show this weekend. WWE is already on its way back to the kingdom and now we know when it is taking place.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They Move On: King And Queen Of The Ring Crowned, Summerslam Title Challengers Set
This weekend at WWE King And Queen Of The Ring, WWE announced that they will be returning to Saudi Arabia on November 2 with Crown Jewel. This has been a regular show for the country since the business relationship between the two sides began in 2018, save for 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. There is no word on any matches or talent set for the event.
They have something to live up to. Check out what happened in Saudi Arabia this time:
Opinion: I don’t think this is much of a surprise these days, as the relationship between WWE and Saudi Arabia is long established and likely to continue growing sooner than later. It is never going to be well received by many fans, which is understandable, but WWE makes so much money doing it that it is hard to fathom WWE leaving it anytime soon. Things have gotten a bit better, but I’m not sure I can imagine it changing in any significant way.
