Get back in there? Retirement is one of the most complicated issues in wrestling as a wrestler might intend to be done with their career but there is always the chance that they could come back again later. It can be a special moment when a wrestler who has not gotten into the ring for the first time in a long time wrestling again and now a former wrestler is teasing doing just that.

During an interview with Chaotic Good Sports, Monday Night Raw General Manager Adam Pearce said that while he does not want to wrestle, he would be willing to do so if WWE asked him to. Pearce, 46, is a five time NWA World Heavyweight Champion who has not wrestled since December 2014. There is nothing to indicate that WWE has any plans for Pearce to wrestle anytime soon.

Opinion: I’m not sure if Pearce is going to get back in the ring but it is an option that is available for WWE if necessary. If nothing else, Pearce knows what he is doing in the ring and could do just fine if that is where things go. That is a valuable asset to have and there are several stories that could be told if WWE wants to take things in that direction. Pearce certainly seems open to it and maybe we could see it take place.
