There was a reason for that. There are a lot of things that take place in wrestling and some of them are outside of the ring. While some of them might seem a little bit random, there is always the chance that they are part of a much bigger story. These things can make for some of the more interesting parts of a wrestling show and another may have taken place last week.
According to PWInsider.com, last week’s Goldberg vs. Dolph Ziggler confrontation in a Las Vegas steakhouse was part of a storyline that will see Goldberg return to WWE TV. At the moment it is not clear what Goldberg will be doing upon his return or when he will be back. Goldberg defeated Ziggler, currently one half of the Raw Tag Team Champions, in a short match at Summerslam earlier this year.
This might mean more than it originally seemed. Check out the incident that set things up:
Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise in the world as there was certainly a feeling that last week’s incident was staged. It makes a lot more sense for it to as the camera being right there and one of the people holding them apart smiling would suggest that it wasn’t exactly on the level. I don’t really need Goldberg back on TV but he has a presence that few others have so maybe it can work.
