It’s great for the music alone. Halloween is this week and that means it’s time to dress up like some people. That means we can see some wrestlers acting like some characters from the past, which works quite well given how many options there are to pick from. This was the case on SmackDown Live as one of the most popular trios of all time imitated one of the coolest of all time.
They might as well be Canadian.
This week on SmackDown Live, a member of New Day was set to meet a member of the Bar in a Trick Or Street Fight. Big E. represented New Day, though the entire team came out dressed as the Brood, complete with Gangrel’s original theme music and people holding lights to represent their circle of fire. Later in the match, all three members used the same red liquid that the original team regularly used.
Opinion: I love this kind of thing, and that’s just not just because of the awesome Brood theme music being stuck in my head since the team made their entrance. New Day is the kind of team who can do this kind of funny thing and just have a good time instead of being so serious all the time. The Brood was a nice flashback for the older fans, as they were one of the coolest things in the world back in their day.
What did you think of the imitation? What would you like to see New Day do next? Let us know in the comments below.
