Candice LeRae Gives Update on Johnny Gargano

Standing by her husband. The biggest story coming out of this Saturday’s “Takeover: Chicago” was Tommaso Ciampa splitting up with Johnny Gargano to end DIY. Ciampa destroyed Gargano to end the show with Gargano being taken out on a stretcher. Gargano’s wife has given us an update on his condition.

On her official Twitter, Gargano’s wife Candice LeRae (a fellow professional wrestler who appeared in the recent #1 contenders battle royal) posted a message, basically saying Gargano is banged up and hurt but the family will continue to move forward. You can see the full message here:

Opinion: I like it when you see something like this. You don’t have to go over the top in reactions and sometimes it’s ok to try and keep kayfabe on some life support. The fans really did seem to like that ending and it was well done enough that the Chicago crowd was into it. It’s nice to not have a picture of Gargano and Ciampa at dinner after the show or something like that for a change.
