Priorities, priorities. To say the WWE is an international company would be an understatement. They’re the biggest wrestling company in the world by a long stretch and no one is really even in their league. That means they’re going to be wanted in a lot of different places and now some of those requests are starting to overlap, meaning WWE has to make some decisions.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE will not be running its June Backlash event due to scheduling conflicts with the next Saudi Arabia show. Backlash, which was never officially announced, was scheduled for June 16 in San Diego. This is nine days after the June 7 event in Saudi Arabia and WWE did not want to promote two events on such a shortened time frame.

So nothing is going on this list this year. Check out some of Backlash’s most extreme moments:

WWE Backlash's most extreme moments: WWE Top 10, May 5, 2018

Opinion: While I can understand the mentality, I’m certainly not looking forward to the show. The Saudi Arabia shows tend to be rather uneventful and really just major house shows, which aren’t the most interesting things in the world. While Backlash isn’t the strongest event, I’d prefer a show where something might actually happen, though WWE being guaranteed a fortune for the Saudi Arabia show is more than understandable.
