That Could Be Big. Former UFC Champion Spotted At WWE Performance Center

When the paths cross. Every year it seems that the sports of mixed martial arts and professional wrestling come closer and closer together. Several mixed martial artists have moved over to wrestling and found success with a few others going the other way to success as well. That makes for some very interesting prospects and we might have another one.

According to ESPN’s Ariel Hewani on Twitter, former UFC Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg was seen at the WWE Performance Center over the weekend, even posing for a photo. Cyborg was recently knocked out in less than a minute by Amanda Nunes and has spoken about considering a WWE run in the past. There is currently no word on when Cyborg would be leaving UFC.

Opinion: I mean, why not? Cyborg has a very unique look and has shown interest in WWE before. Maybe she’ll come in to WWE and we can finally get to the big showdown with Ronda Rousey that the UFC never could. She might need someone to talk for her, but with that kind of punching power, it’s not like she’s going to need that much help in the ring, meaning the potential is there.
