He’s banged up. Wrestling is a physical sport and an injury can take place at any time no matter how much training or experience a wrestler may have. You never know when you are going to see someone get hurt, as it can come out of nowhere or build up over time. Now we know about a high profile star dealing with an injury, and it is coming at a rather difficult time.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: All Hands: WWE Holds Meeting With Vince McMahon And Other Top Executives Speaking
This week on AEW Dynamite, Maxwell Jacob Friedman is scheduled to defend the AEW World Title against Samoa Joe. In a post on social media, Friedman said that it is difficult to defeat Joe when healthy but he is going into the match injured. There is no word on what kind of injury Friedman is dealing with or when he was hurt. There is nothing to suggest that the match will not take place.
Tomorrow I go to war against a first ballot hall of famer.
One of the greatest big men in the history of our sport.
A man as intelligent as he is deadly.
Beating Samoa Joe at 100% is nearly impossible.
Tomorrow I’ll be wrestling injured.
But I won’t be in there alone.… pic.twitter.com/jqpH55aIuh

Friedman is a star. Check out how the match was set up:
Opinion: The fact that the match is still scheduled to take place is a good sign and hopefully everything winds up going well. There was a real chance to the title changing hands when they were both healthy and now things are even more lopsided against the champion. It should make for an interesting title match and now we get to see which way the title goes.
What does this mean for the title match? Who leaves as champion? Let us know in the comments below.
