You might remember him. There are all kinds of people who work to make a wrestling show come together an*d some of them are rarely in front of the camera. Several of these backstage workers are former wrestlers who act as producers or coaches to help the current talent. Those can be some very valuable people and now one of them seems to have returned to the company.

According to PWInsider.com by way of Cagesideseats.com, Dave Taylor is working for WWE again, appearing at both NXT and SmackDown, as well as at the Performance Center. There is no word on what he has been doing, but there is a chance he could wind up as a producer. Taylor, 67 years old, wrestled for WWE from 2006-2008 before returning to the independent circuit.

He’s rather good. Check out Taylor in the ring:

Opinion: This is the kind of move that WWE has to make every so often, as Taylor is a veteran who can bring a lot of experience to the promotion. Younger wrestlers getting to learn from veterans can take them a long way and it should be interesting to see what Taylor can offer, assuming he is put in a place to do so. If nothing else, it offers a fresh voice, which is needed on occasion to keep things from getting stale.

What do you think of the move? Who would make a good WWE coach? Let us know in the comments below.
