He’s back? Injuries can be terrible for any wrestler as they can lead to a long time on the sidelines. A wrestler being stuck out of action can be horrible to see and unfortunately there is little that can be done other than wait. That can make for some great moments when someone is able to return to the ring and now we might know when we will be seeing it again.

CM Punk has been out of action since the Royal Rumble after suffering a torn tricep muscle. According to Fightful Select, Punk is expected to be cleared to return to the ring by Summerslam, which takes place on August 3. WWE has not announced any return to the ring for Punk, though he is scheduled to appear on this week’s SmackDown in his hometown of Chicago. Summerslam will take place in Cleveland at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Punk is a heck of a star. Check out what might be returning to the ring:
Opinion: This is one of those things that seems to be coming together nicely, as Punk has been dealing with Drew McIntyre for several months now and that could be a heck of a Summerslam fight. What matters the most is getting Punk back in the ring as he made an amazing return at Survivor Series last year but then didn’t get to do much in the ring. Now just make it work and let him show what he can still do while he can.
