It might be a bit. With so many talented wrestlers on the AEW roster, it can be difficult for everyone to find television time. At some point, a wrestler is going to be left off of television for one reason or another, some of which can be rather negative. This time a star is missing, but the only thing we know about it is that he does not seem overly bothered by his own absence.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: That Takes Guts: How Brock Lesnar Was Reportedly Called Out To Fight Backstage At WWE Event

Earlier this week, a fan on Twitter asked AEW’s Shawn Spears where he has been lately in regards to appearing in AEW. Spears responded, saying “don’t hold your breath…not going there anytime soon.” Spears has only wrestled once for AEW since May, appearing on the October 14 Rampage. There is no word on any issues between AEW and Spears. He and his wife Cassie Lee, formerly known as Peyton Royce in WWE, are expecting their first son in the new year.

Spears has done some good things in AEW. Check out some of his time there:

Opinion: Spears is a talented hand in the ring who has been around AEW since the beginning of its run. That is the kind of spot that he could fill for a rather long time, as there is no such thing as having too much talent around. Maybe he is away because of the impending birth, but if he is ok with being away from the company, at least he seems to be happy with what is going on.

What do you think of Spears? Who would you like to see him face? Let us know in the comments below.
