He’s down. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and many of them take place during the course of a match. You never know when you are going to see someone get hurt and it could happen at any time, even in a match where you might not expect it. Unfortunately that is the case again with a current WWE Superstar, who might be missing a bit of time as a result.

Last week on SmackDown, Apollo Crews defeated Johnny Gargano in a singles match. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Crews was injured when he took a Backstabber, though it is not known what kind of injury he suffered. It is believed to be either a pectoral muscle or a shoulder injury but no details have been confirmed. There is no word on how long Crews will be out of action.

Opinion: You never want to hear something like this and unfortunately it could be a bit before we see Crews again. That sounds like it could be a serious injury and hopefully things aren’t as bad as they seem. Crews was starting to be featured a bit more in recent weeks and now he is likely going to have to sit down for awhile, which is always horrible for anyone in wrestling.
