You have to keep the shelves stocked. There are a lot of talented wrestlers all over the world and while there are all kinds of places for them to work, the best known of them all is WWE. While a lot of wrestlers may have no interest in going there, it is certainly the place with the most money to offer and the most prestige in the wrestling world. As it turns out, they might have a new talent on their hands.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, El Hijo de Fantasma, possibly best known as King Cuerno from Lucha Underground, will be starting with WWE in September. There has been interest between both sides dating back to 2016 but he was under contract to Lucha Underground at the time. Hijo de Fantasma has since been released from his deal and was free to sign with WWE.
In case you’re not familiar with him. Check out Hijo de Fantasma in Lucha Underground:
Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise in the world as WWE is always looking to find Hispanic stars for their roster. King Cuerno is thirty five years old so he is experienced enough to know what he is doing but not old enough to be too far gone. He would be a good signing for NXT (where he would likely go) and it isn’t exactly shocking to see WWE wanting him around.
How will Hijo de Fantasma do in WWE? Where do you see him winding up? Let us know in the comments below.
