Wrestlers go through a lot of things in the ring every time they step through the ropes, many of which most people will never experience. At the same time, there are several wrestlers who hold other jobs in addition to getting in the ring which offer more mundane experiences. That is not always the case though, and unfortunately things got rather serious for a wrestling legend at his non-wrestling job.

According to TMZ, former WWE star 2 Cold Scorpio was arrested after allegedly stabbing another man on June 15. Scorpio is alleged to have stabbed a man during a fight at a Love’s Travel Stop in Kansas City, Missouri where Scorpio works, though Scorpio is claiming self defense. The incident stemmed from the other man smoking a cigarette inside the building and Scorpio telling him not to. The two went outside and fought, with Scorpio stabbing him with a knife he had in his pocket.
Police arrived and saw the man bleeding and took him to the hospital, where he blamed Scorpio for the incident. Scorpio has been arrested and charged with assault and armed criminal action, though he has been released on bond. Scorpio, 58 years old, is still active on the independent circuit, with his most recent match taking place in April.

Opinion: It is way too early to know where this is going to go but it could wind up being a very serious situation for Scorpio. This could take a long time to figure out as we are now going to have to wait and see where the whole things goes. Hopefully things are not as serious as they seem to be, but if Scorpio did what he is accused of doing, his career might be over entirely.
