Sami Zayn Changes Twitter Handle Following ‘Hell in a Cell,’ Meaning

Following what transpired at ‘Hell in a Cell‘ last night, Sami Zayn has changed his handle on Twitter. What does this mean? We may have an idea.

Up until last night, Zayn has gone by the handle @ILikeSamiZayn. That changed following the ‘Smackdown Live’ pay-per-view where Zayn saved Kevin Owens from being hit by an Elbow Drop by Shane McMahon off the top of the Hell in a Cell structure.

His new handle is @SamiZayn. We’ve heard from many sources, including Dave Meltzer that Zayn is now a heel. That said, we have no confirmation of this. Both Owens and Zayn have had a storied past and with all that has happened between the two of them, it could mean a number of things.

That said, the new handle does seem to suggest he is leaning towards becoming a heel. This should become obvious this week on ‘Smackdown Live’ when Zayn addresses the situation, as Owens himself seemed in shock at what transpired.
