Is WWE Champion Jinder Mahal Injured?

Based on some recent pictures shown of Jinder Mahal at live events, coupled with his appearances on ‘Smackdown Live,’ could the current WWE Champion be injured?

During the recent ‘Smackdown Live’ tour of Japan, a fan took a few photos of Jinder Mahal preparing for his match in Osaka. You can view the pictures below, as they show Mahal wearing arm tape similar to that of Cesaro.

If you consider that Mahal hasn’t been present for the majority of the last couple of weeks and even when he has, he hasn’t competed, there does appear to be something wrong.

It should be of note that Cesaro and other wrestlers use tape like this for very mild injuries or as a part of their attire (Cesaro being the obvious example again). If Mahal truly is injured, he is still working a reduced schedule.

The next few weeks will be crutial leading into ‘Hell In A Cell’ as Shinsuke Nakamura may become the next WWE Champion if Mahal is still injured.

In the meantime, we highly suggest you take a look back at Mahal’s celebration as WWE Champion and let us know if you like Mahal in this position and if you think he somewhat deserved his reign.
