Watch: Chris Jericho and Kofi Kingston Fight for the Intercontinental Championship

Continuing the ‘Night of Champions’ trend, WWE uploaded to their official YouTube channel the Intercontinental Championship match between Kofi Kingston and Chris Jericho from the 2008 iteration of the pay-per-view.

The match itself is a decent length and features Kingston as a singles performer. This is something he hasn’t been in years, since the formation of The New Day, also involving Big E and Xavier Woods.

The Intercontinental Championship design here was different too. If you are a fan that has joined the WWE Universe within the last few years, you should definitely check this match out.

Not only does it show Kingston in a singles role and the prior design of the Intercontinental Championship now held by Roman Reigns, but it shows a prior gimmick Jericho used.
