According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, ‘Smackdown Live‘ superstar Samir Singh of the Singh Brothers is now sidelined with a pretty severe injury.

As Satin explains, Singh took to his Instagram account to share a photograph of himself on a hospital bed, revealing the injury he reportedly sustained.

This was an ACL injury, which oftentimes takes upwards of six months to recover from. We would classify this as a major injury for the superstar who is attempting to find himself alongside his brother and former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.

He had the following to say:

“Last week I tore my ACL and it goes without saying that this past week has been very emotional. The more I think about it, the less it makes sense. All I know is that God is the sovereign of my life and that everything that comes to pass is his blessing. I thank you all for the continued love and support. I can’t wait to be back.”

Singh, formerly known as Harv Sihra in the Cruiserweight Classic appears to be at a Birmingham, Alabama hospital in recovery.

The injury appears to have occurred last week on ‘Smackdown Live’ when both of the Singh Brothers attacked Bobby Roode after Roode had defeated Mojo Rawley in the United States Championship Tournament.

Wrestling Rumors would like to wish Singh the best in his recovery and we do hope he makes it back to the company alongside his brother and Mahal as soon as possible.

What are your thoughts on the injury? Did you notice it happening?
