As part of his coverage for NXT live, JJ Williams of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed a ‘Mae Young Classic‘ competitor appears to have joined an upcoming stable in the brand.

Williams tweeted that The Undisputed Era brought ‘Mae Young Classic’ competitor Taynara Conti to the ramp during a match between Liv Morgan, Peyton Royce and Nikki Cross.

They had Conti cost Cross the match, allowing Royce to get the victory and qualify for the Fatal 4 Way NXT Women’s Championship match at NXT ‘TakeOver: Houston’ on November 18.

This match will also include ‘Mae Young Classic’ winner Kairi Sane and Ember Moon. There is one spot to be filled.

This is the tweet Williams sent out:

Wrestling Rumors will keep you up to date on what happens with the NXT Women’s Championship now that it is vacant, with Asuka headed to ‘Raw.’

If you’re interested in seeing Conti perform, we have a clip from her match against Lacey Evans in the first round of the ‘Mae Young Classic’ which we highly suggest you watch.
