Amore was fired from WWE due to the sexual assault allegations by Philomena Sheahan. This caused him to also go dark on social media. He even went so far as to delete all his posts.
Now that he is officially no longer being investigated, he has returned to social media. So far he has posted an Instagram story and the case results.
Don Callis was recently part of a conference call for Impact Wrestling, where he was asked about the possibility of bringing in Amore now that he is clear.
Here is what Callis had to say in response:
“Never say never. You evaluate talent based on need and what you’re looking to do. We have a long-term plan for how we engage with talent in terms of who’s gonna be on the roster, what roster spots we need filled, etcetera. It’s not as much of a random thing. So, um, ya know … as with any other talent, I think time will tell.”
This could be a coy way for Callis to avoid specifically saying Amore could show up with it still being possible. It should also be noted that Amore is looking to venture into rap and may not want to return to the ring.
