Singh stands at 6-foot-2, weighing in at 240 pounds. Besides working for Impact Wrestling, he is also known on the independent circuit and was a bodybuilder back in Punjab, India.
As WWE explains, Singh had a rough childhood but managed to channel his energy into playing sports. He won local competitions in bodybuilding before turning to wrestling in 2011.
Singh has trained with Savio Vega and Al Snow, enjoying success in India, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
He had the following to say on coming to WWE:
“I came to the U.S. with the dream that someday, I am going to make my country proud. I would consider myself fortunate if I am able to become a positive role model for the youngsters of my country and impact lives. I don’t think I can find a better platform than WWE to empower myself to empower others, especially those back at home.”
Besides Singh, WWE have recently sighed other Indian talent to their Performance Center including Saurav Gurjar, Rinku Singh, and Kavita Devi, who participated in the Mae Young Classic.
