[ad2] WWE has revealed the upcoming collections for the WWE Network for February 2018, which highlights Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Black History Month.
Beginning on February 1, WWE will have the Celebrating Black History (2018) collection available for WWE Network subscribers to watch.
Here is the synopsis from WWE.com:
“Every year we celebrate Black History Month for a very important reason, and that’s to acknowledge and show appreciation for the contributions of important African Americans throughout history. From great leaders to everyday citizens, from business and politics to sports and entertainment, these influencers have helped shape the tapestry of America and impacted the WWE Universe in countless ways. Celebrate Black History Month with this WWE Network Collection, featuring inspirational pioneers like Bobo Brazil, Ron Simmons, and Booker T, plus current game-changers like Sasha Banks, Naomi and The New Day.”
Including the introduction, the entire playlist includes 30 clips. The selection looks extensive and doesn’t solely cover wrestling but the backgrounds of several competitors.
If you would like to get a better understanding of these Superstars over the years, this is the perfect playlist to start your research. You’d be surprised.
The other main collection in Alexa Bliss: Five Feet of Fury will be available on February 5 and will have a focus on ‘The Goddess’ in Bliss. Here is the synopsis, provided by WWE.com:
“Whenever The Goddess graces the WWE Universe with her presence, all should bow at her feet. Resourceful, confident, and brash, Alexa Bliss knows how to get just what she wants: championship glory. Never one to pass up the opportunity to boast, Little Miss Bliss hosts this Network Collection of devilish moments from her already impressive career. Relive many of Alexa’s memorable clashes, both in the ring and on the mic, with such Superstars as Bayley, Mickie James, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks. Watching this Collection guarantees to be fun, entertaining, and… Pure Bliss.”
For fans of the current product, you don’t want to miss this collection. From her days down in NXT through to her current reign as Raw Women’s Champion, this list has a comprehensive list of 35 clips of classic Bliss moments and matches that will fulfill any fan’s desire for more Bliss content.
You can watch the introduction to that collection down below.
The final collection for the month is New Classic Content: February 2018, which as you can imagine is a lot of older content interesting for those wanting to learn more about the industry or for older fans to look back on positively. The synopsis on WWE.com reads:
“Classic WWE Home Videos from the 1980s and early ’90s are now available on WWE Network. Originally distributed by Coliseum Home Video, and featuring WWE Hall of Famers like Andre The Giant, Shawn Michaels, Yokozuna, and Ric Flair just to name a few, these vintage titles include: Most Unusual Matches, Funniest Moments, Battle at Royal Albert Hall, World Tour ’92, Invasion of the Bodyslammers, and more. With nearly 70 NEW hours of exclusive matches and memorable moments from your favorite WWE Legends, this Classic Content Collection is the easiest way to get a small taste of the action.”
This is by far the smallest collection of the month in terms of video count, as it only has ten videos. Each of these videos is rather lengthy though, so keep that in mind before watching.
You can request collections you’d like to see on social media by using the hashtag #wwecollections and they will take these into consideration. For March, Becky Lynch and The Bar: Sheamus & Cesaro are both confirmed but no more details are available at this time on those.
Are you going to watch any of these? What are you most looking forward to from these collections?
