WWE have revealed the logo and poster for their brand new pay-per-view event, WWE Battleground.

The poster features Ryback, who it’s said to be in line for a huge push once his current bullying gimmick ends. Ryback’s inclusion on the Battleground poster may indicate his push will be in full-swing by the time October comes around.

It had been rumored that the event may feature a ‘War Games’ match, bringing back the popular WCW gimmick. However, seating plans for the arena later revealed the arena would not be set up for two rings as would be required for a War Games match.

The event emanates from Buffalo’s First Niagara Center, formely known as the HSBC arena and takes place on Sunday October 6.

The event replaces the ‘Over The Limit’ event on WWE’s PPV’s schedule.
