TNA’s Taryn Terrell Revealed as Cheerleader Hit By Will Ferrell

Over the past week, a video has gone viral of famous actor Will Ferrell throwing a basketball and hitting a New Orleans Pelicans cheerleader in the face. The identity of the cheerleader has since been revealed as a wrestling personality, and ironically a TNA Knockout.

TNA Knockouts Champion Taryn Terrell tweeted the following:

Ferrell was in character, filming for the new movie “Get Hard.” The movie also stars former WWE Superstar Shad Gaspard.

With TNA taping episodes of “Impact Wrestling” irregularly, it has opened up for its stars to take other opportunities. Terrell was out for much of 2013 and the beginning of 2014 after she delivered a child, but returned to the company in May. Her matches with fellow former WWE Diva Gail Kim have earned praise across the wrestling world.
