TNA Wrestling’s Bram has established himself as a player in the wrestling scene since joining the company earlier this year. For the first time, however, the former NXT Superstar has opened up about his personal life, including his marriage to NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte.
Bram spoke to The Daily Mirror about this and other wrestling-related topics. Below are some of the higlights.
He touched on being married to the rising Superstar, making his father-in-law the legendary Ric Flair:
“It’s not something you think about. If you had told me all of the things I would have done, people that I would have met when I was 13, I would have been like ‘wow’.
“But as the years pass, everything kind of seems normal. From an outside point of view it might seem cool or bizarre, but to me it’s normal.
“It’s a great relationship, it has been from day one, he’s a hell of a guy. As long as Ashley’s happy, he’s happy.”
Being in TNA with his wife in WWE hasn’t been as difficult for him as many would imagine. Bram went into details on how that dynamic works:
“I’m doing my own thing in TNA and she’s doing her own thing there,” he explained.
“We have a bond in wrestling and in most relationships, wrestling can get in the way.
“We both understand when we’re away for a long time or we’re hurt or you’ve got to do things some people wouldn’t be too happy with.
“There’s a nice understanding there which makes our relationship a lot easier.”
The Englishman also touched upon TNA’s “in the air” status, as it searches for a new television deal.
“TNA management and Dixie [Carter, the company’s president] keep us in the loop as much as they can. I’m confident in the company. I don’t worry about it. Whatever they choose to do I know it’s going to work out.”

Editor’s Note
Hopefully he has a better marriage track record than his father-in-law! Talented guy, who as long as he’s happy, is a good vibe for the industry.
