Stephanie McMahon Responds to AJ Lee Calling Her Out

Tuesday night, former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee made headlines across the wrestling community for comments she made publicly on Twitter.

During and following “Monday Night Raw” this past week, #GiveDivasAChance began to trend worldwide after four WWE female stars were given just seconds of television time in comparison to the amount of time the rest of the roster and NXT Divas get. This upset many, who brought it to the attention of WWE brass.

Stephanie McMahon took to Twitter to comment on women’s rights the same day, and Lee attacked her in response.

After Lee’s comments gained some traction, McMahon took to her own Twitter to respond publicly to what Lee had to say:

WWE’s relationship with Lee is polarizing to say the least. As the former champ is out nursing a neck injury, it was said at one point a return date had been etched for her. However, she has yet to return to television, and her real-life husband CM Punk is currently being sued by the company for his comments made against its doctor.
