After being singled out on “Monday Night Raw,” Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” hit back with a killer promo of his own. The video went viral, and was picked up by mainstream media.
Thursday, “Mr. Money in the Bank” sounded off to TMZ about his mini-feud with Stewart.
During “TMZ Hollywood Sports,” Rollins reiterated he was not backing down from Stewart’s threats, and invited him to face-off with him at the upcoming “Fastlane” pay-per-view.
Rollins was told Stewart used to be a college athlete, to which he responded:
“What was he, a college curler? Water polo? What was he doing? Oh a soccer player? Well that’s a little bit different than what we do. People think we take falls, look at soccer players. They fall all over the place.”
The video can be found below, and like the initial challenge, has been picked up by even more mainstream media.
Editor’s Note
WWE should continue to run with it. Stewart is all over headlines right now. And he’s a big wrestling fan.
