Reason AJ Lee May Retain Divas Championship at WrestleMania

She has held the Divas Championship longer than anyone in the history of the belt, and she may live to see another day with it after WrestleMania XXX. F4WOnline.com is reporting that AJ Lee may hold on to the Divas Championship this upcoming Sunday in New Orleans.

The report says that the reason Lee may hold on to the championship is a result of the rest of the card. The current WrestleMania card is positioned for many babyfaces to win, which could give them reason to have Lee walk out with the belt.

Traditionally, faces often walk out of WrestleMania as winners of longstanding feuds. In the case of Lee, there is no true feud occurring, with the championship being defended in the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational. The match will see all Divas on the main roster competing in a one-fall finish match for the title.

Daniel Bryan is widely expected to leave as WWE World Heavyweight Champion, with several other odds pointing in favor of faces. This would give WWE reason to mix the card up to have a heel go over. It is also said that the finishes to the matches are pretty much set in stone at this point, and have been.
