Former WWE Divas Champion Paige recently chatted with Chuck Carroll of Turnbuckle Weekly to discuss various matters related to her WWE career and more. Below are some of the highlights.

Paige hit on how her life has changed since starring on “Total Divas:”

“It’s pretty wild. I kind of get recognized tons more. Like I was out with my friend and she was getting so annoyed because so many people wanted pictures, it just blows my mind. I don’t mind taking pictures, there is literally everywhere you go now, I forget how many people watch E! and how many people watch WWE as well. There’s two completely different markets of people just coming up to me all the time, which I love, but it’s completely mind-blowing, like ‘am I famous or something?'”

She touched on the controversial Rosa Mendes storyline that saw her co-star slap her in a lip-lock:

“No she did like me, that was the weirdest part. I see the scene where she is kind of flirtatious with me, and I just thought, ‘oh that’s just Rosa being Rosa.’ Then just watching it back and realizing, ‘oh this chick does have a crush on me.’ And she like told everyone backstage. All the boys knew about it. I was like, ‘oh my gosh.’ Then the whole kiss, I was not expecting it, but I kind of felt bad for her. I was like ‘oh man, I don’t want to rip her head off or anything because she’s my friend,’ I kind of felt bad for her because she probably just really loved me.”

Paige also gave an update on the health of AJ Lee, who recently called out Stephanie McMahon on Twitter:

“She’s great, she’s great. She’ll text me and stuff. Some people just need a break to rest up. It happens to all of us sometimes, you can get tired or run down. You just need your body to rest up. I believe that’s what she’s doing, but if not, then I don’t know what she’s doing. She did have a neck issue, it was pretty bad, she was constantly icing and getting work done on it. I believe that was the case. She’ll be fine, I think she’ll be back soon.”

Editor’s Note

Certainly sounds like AJ will be back at some point, though Tuesday’s events hopefully don’t affect that.
