Kevin Owens has made a major impact on the WWE scene since he made his official main roster debut back in May. Following going 1-2 in a three-match feud with WWE United States Champion John Cena, Owens has seemingly turned his workings towards a feud with Cesaro and possibly some combination of Sheamus and Randy Orton. However, Cesaro is not the man who Owens has in his sights.
“I think there’s only one answer for me right now, and it is Brock Lesnar.
“I think a lot of people want to see it.”
He would note he saw “The Beast” mark his official start in WWE back in 2002:
“I was there the night he made his debut on Raw for WWE. I was in the crowd, like the fifth row.
“I remember being blown away immediately by this guy, I was on board right away. I bought Brock Lesnar T-shirts and Brock Lesnar hats. My parents got a dog that summer, I named him Brock. Seriously, he was a blonde Lab, he was huge: ‘That’s Brock!’
“I used to do the F5 when I was on the indies because of how much I admire him so I’d love to be the one to put an end to him.“
There had been reports recently noting some in WWE are split on Owens, as some view him as a main-eventer of the future, while others feel his is destined to remain in the midcard. It is said WWE producer Kevin Dunn is not a fan of Owens’ look, which has had an effect on Vince McMahon.
Editor’s Note
Lesnar/Owens seems like a possibility one day. And yes, it would be awesome.
